Deconstructed
The style which I call "deconstructed" was initially rooted in the influence of impressionism and the idea of the fadind of memories. As time goes on, the mind alters a memory, forgets or adds details, effectively degrading it into more of a fantasy than a memory. An idea of something.
It then evolved into an attempt at deconstructing subjects into their bare components (composition, simple shapes, simplified colors). I find basic photography to be lacking in the way it fails to express what truly interest me in my subjects. To do away with distractions allows the observer to focus more on what is left.
